Security provider Checkmarx is bolstering its partner offerings following the launch of a global Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) program.

Along with its existing global reseller program, the MSSP program is seen as an important milestone for the company, according to the supplier’s CEO, Emmanuel Benzaquen.

“Our MSSP partners will strengthen their service offerings, combining the industry’s most comprehensive application security platform with the strong relationships and expertise of their own teams in a way that benefits organizations around the world,” did he declare.

Divided into four levels (Registered, Authorized, Advanced, and Expert), the program offers training and enablement, trade protection, margin and rebates, branding assistance, and touch and purchase vehicles.

Progression in levels is based on Accredited Sales, Accredited Pre-Sales and Engineering, Professional Services, and Annual Consumption Commitments.

“We are deeply committed to the needs of our customers and partners,” said Mark Osmond, Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances at Checkmarx.

“This program opens a new chapter in these partners’ ability to deliver significantly improved and simplified application security, cost savings and rapid return on investment for their customers.”

In January, Checkmarx strengthened its security presence in Asia-Pacific with a distribution agreement with Westcon-Comstor.

The deal, which covered six ASEAN markets, Australia and China, targeted users by fixing vulnerabilities throughout the software development process.
