Daewoong Pharmaceutical Launches 4th Global DDS Training Program

Daewoong Pharmaceutical announced on September 6 that it has launched the 4th class of Daewoong Global Drug Delivery System (DDS) training program for talented students from Indonesia.

A scholarship award ceremony was held at the Daewoong Pharmaceutical R&D Center on Sept. 5 in the presence of Indonesian Ambassador to Korea Gandi Sulistiyanto, Daewoong CEO Jeon Seung-ho and other officials. Officials from University of Indonesia (UI), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and University of Padjadjaran (UNPAD) also attended the online event.

The Daewoong Global DDS Education Program is a human resource development program for masters and doctoral candidates. It provides training and education in the field of pharmaceutical and biotechnology research with the aim of developing future leaders who will contribute to the growth of the Indonesian pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

The 4th class of the training program will take place at the Daewoong Pharmaceutical R&D Center for four months, from September to December. Scholarship students with excellent grades also have the opportunity to work for Daewoong Pharmaceutical’s research, quality and production departments. Nine Indonesian students among the first and second class participants have passed tests at the R&D center and the global division of Daewoong Pharmaceutical and will start working in Korea from September.
