LS will hold a youth program on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday, Shastri

New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) The Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE), Lok Sabha Secretariat, in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India in the Central Hall of Parliament are holding a program on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi and former prime minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri, on Sunday, according to an official statement.

Under the program, 99 youth participants were selected from schools and colleges in 28 states and two union territories across the country. The selection was made by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of India, through different types of competitions.

All participants will pay floral tributes to national leaders in the central hall of the parliament, and among them, 30 selected participants will be given a platform to talk about the contributions of our national leaders to the development of the country and reiterate the principles. and the ideals of their life.

During their visit to Parliament, they will be taken to the Houses of both Houses, the Library of Parliament as well as the Kartavya Path, the National War Memorial and the Raj Ghat, the statement added.
