Marian Regional Medical Center Adds Program to Help Victims of Human Trafficking | Local News

An assistance program for victims and survivors of human trafficking has been added to the training and treatment offered at Marian Regional Medical Center, parent company Dignity Health announced Wednesday.

The Medical Safe Haven program has been added to the Marian Family Practice Center, with resident physicians now trained to recognize and treat trafficked patients, a Dignity Health spokesperson said.

This course is in addition to the family medicine training offered through the three-year Marian family medicine residency program.
