EXTON, Pa., August 24, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Ricoh UNITED STATES, Inc. today announced Ricoh Advanced Career Education (ACE), an industry-first training program that certifies educators to prepare students for careers in the growing fields of commercial printing, signage and graphics. Working with industry partners, educational institutions and organizations nationwide, Ricoh ACE equips the next generation of print professionals with the skills to manufacture the most complex print products. today and the tools to meet the sophisticated printing demands of tomorrow. The program supports economic development and empowerment by providing access to education and economic mobility to communities in need through careers within the high-demand printing industry, thereby building support for Ricoh to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ricoh ACE trains and certifies instructors at a range of educational institutions, including high schools, community colleges, and adult, vocational and technical schools, to deliver the program to students at their local institutions, thus certifying these students as well. ACE Instructor Training takes place at the Ricoh Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Boulder, Co., where Ricoh’s print experts provide hands-on experience in core print industry technologies and technical processes used today, as well as graphic design, specialized software, print automation production, workflow best practices and in-depth industry insights. CEC training participants also benefit from future access to Ricoh technical experts for ongoing remote support while delivering the program at their respective educational institutions.

Completion of the program qualifies participants for Certified Sign and Graphic Production Specialist certification for instructors and students, ensuring that graduates have the technical and professional skills, education and training necessary to become effectively employed in the commercial printing, signage and graphic design industries.
